The features of the PM-series

Apart from the fact that pouches can be produced with the ultrasonic welding technology, the PM series feature some of the following characteristics.

• The sandwich-tool concept
  Due to the innovative sandwich-tool concept for pouch production, the costs for tooling can be kept relatively low. But first of all the innovation makes it possible to produce a bottom-gusset pouch with only one ultrasonic horn in a one step only process.
• Meeting customer’s requirements
  The modular construction of the machine concept makes it possible to respond to any special request or production requirements from the customer.

  The output of the PM-series ranges from 75 pouches/minute with one-web production up to 1000 pouches/minute with a multiweb production. The high precision tools are manufactured in one- or multiple-up design, depending on the machine capacity.

  Bottom gussets can be inserted into the main film material of the pouch or special bottom films can be fed and folded. The modular machine concept also allows for welding of zippers or spouts into the pouches.
